Abstract

The advancement of information technology has driven significant changes in the service systems within the culinary sector. Restaurants and cafes now require an efficient system to minimize order recording errors and speed up service. This research aims to design a web-based online food ordering system with a QR menu feature that facilitates customers in placing orders without the need for direct interaction with the waiter. The research method used is the Waterfall model, focusing on the stages of requirements analysis and system design. The results of the research include a system design that encompasses context diagrams, DFDs, ERDs, and user interface designs. This design is expected to serve as a reference for the development of similar systems to enhance operational efficiency and customer satisfaction.
