Abstract

Transparency of village government is an important aspect in increasing public trust in village management. This study aims to design and implement a village website as a medium for information and government transparency using the Django Framework and the Python programming language. The method used is the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) with a waterfall model that includes the stages of needs analysis, system design, implementation, testing, and maintenance. The system is designed with a Model-View-Template (MVT) architecture that separates business logic, display, and data. The main features developed include news and announcement management, village profiles, online administration services, transparency of the Village Revenue and Expenditure Budget (APBDes), an activity gallery, and a public complaint system. System testing using black box testing and usability testing methods showed that the system functioned well with a user satisfaction rate of 87.5% and a functional success rate of 95%. The implementation of this village website has proven effective in increasing the accessibility of village information and realizing good governance at the village level.
